Soccer Recap: Abbeville Takes a Loss

Abbeville scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the GREEN Upstate Owls by a score of 3-2. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Abbeville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for GREEN Upstate, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbeville will venture away from home to face off against Greenwood Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Greenwood Christian's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Abbeville's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for GREEN Upstate, they are taking a road trip to take on Oakbrook Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
