Basketball Recap: Pinedale Picks Up 17th Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pinedale walked away with it. They blew past the Worland Warriors 48-24 on Thursday. The Wranglers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Pinedale was led to victory by Erica Wilson and Elyn Bowers. Wilson shot 64% from the field on her way to 19 points and six steals, while Bowers posted 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Bowers' 37th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Mae L Mcguire, who scored five points and six boards.

The win (which was Pinedale's 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-1. As for Worland, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Pinedale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-41 victory against Lander Valley on the 7th. As for Worland, they have also already played their next contest, a 57-31 defeat against Powell on the 7th.
