The third road matchup was the charm for R-S Central, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past the Chase Trojans 42-7 on Friday. The game was the first time the Hilltoppers have beaten the Trojans on their field since November 3, 2017.

A big part of R-S Central's win came down to the chemistry between Rylan Holley and his top target Jakis Smith. Holley threw for 153 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes while Smith gained 139 total yards and two touchdowns.

R-S Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards in six consecutive games dating back to last season.

R-S Central's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Chase, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
