Hialeah-Miami Lakes had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Yerson Pellegrin sure wasn't going down easily. South Miami had no answer to Pellegrin as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Coming up, Pellegrin and Hialeah-Miami Lakes will head out to challenge Palmer Trinity at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hialeah-Miami Lakes hasn't beaten Palmer Trinity recently, having gone 0-3 since April of 2023.
