Baseball Recap: Annapolis Comes Up Short

Annapolis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Monroe Trojans, falling 17-2.

Annapolis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zavier Reid, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Annapolis' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Monroe, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.

While Annapolis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
