Arcadia typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Crescenta Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Apaches 3-2. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Apaches walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (122-118) Crescenta Valley actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 19-25, 29-27, 35-33, 20-25, 15-12.

The win made it two in a row for Crescenta Valley and bumps their season record up to 11-8. As for Arcadia, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Crescenta Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Burbank at 5:15 p.m. on April 2. As for Arcadia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marshall on the 22nd.
