Basketball Recap: Picayune Comes Up Short

The Picayune Maroon Tide came up short against the Davidson Warriors on Saturday and fell 58-50.

Ja'Lyjawon 'JuJu' Edwards had an outrageously good game for Davidson as he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 steals. Another player making a difference was Kaden Cole, who posted six points.

Picayune's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Picayune will face off against St. Martin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Davidson, they will challenge McGill-Toolen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
