Soccer Recap: Palm Beach Central Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spanish River, Palm Beach Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They beat the Suncoast Chargers by a goal, winning 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in November of 2024.

Palm Beach Central used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Suncoast. Mateo Vergara played for 80 minutes having averaged 53.6 this season and Jayden Rios got 80 vs. an average of 26.8. Thiago Sequiera made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal and six steals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Palm Beach Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-10-3. As for Suncoast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-4.
