Baseball Game Preview: Northern Lebanon Vikings vs. Conestoga Valley Buckskins

The Northern Lebanon Vikings will face off against the Conestoga Valley Buckskins at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Northern Lebanon earned a 6-2 victory over Hamburg. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Adrian Gonzalez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off eight hits (and only one walk). Gonzalez was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Riley Messinger was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Connor Stoltz was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Conestoga Valley got the win against Octorara Area on Tuesday by a conclusive 16-2.

Conestoga Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northern Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
