Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Central challenged Pope John Paul II on Saturday. The Central Wildcats lost 7-0 to the Pope John Paul II Jaguars. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Pope John Paul II, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will head out to face off against Morgan City at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Central is facing Morgan City at the right time seeing as Morgan City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pope John Paul II, they will venture away from home to square off against Dunham at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025. Dunham will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Pope John Paul II surely won't give up without a fight.
