Football Recap: Lockport Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lockport won the last time they faced Metea Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Porters came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 34-21. Given the Porters' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Mustangs are ranked 169th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lockport, bringing their record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.0 points on average over those games. As for Metea Valley, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
