Soccer Recap: Clearwater Central Catholic Plays to a Tie

Clearwater Central Catholic had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and the Clearwater Tornadoes finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Marauders have been dealt a draw since back in November of 2024.

Marcus Lulaj was the only thing that stood between Clearwater Central Catholic and a shutout considering he scored both of Clearwater Central Catholic's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Clearwater Central Catholic's draw makes their record 3-11-2 this season. Meanwhile, Clearwater's record is now 6-3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearwater Central Catholic will square off against Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearwater, they will challenge Indian Rocks Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
