Doddridge County faced Wahama in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the White Falcons 6-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games in a row.

Tessa Mayle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks.
