Baseball Game Preview: Bardstown Tigers vs. Larue County Hawks

Bardstown hasn't had much luck against Larue County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bardstown Tigers will face off against the Larue County Hawks at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Bardstown came up short against Shelby County and fell 7-3.

Breylan Tinnell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Larue County fell victim to Taylor County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

Bardstown now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Larue County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Bardstown suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to Larue County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Bardstown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
