Soccer Recap: Corydon Central Comes Up Short

Corydon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rock Creek Academy Lions.

Corydon Central's goal came courtesy of Sam Paz, who's now up to four this season.

Corydon Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Rock Creek Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5-1 record this season.

Corydon Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Austin on the 25th. As for Rock Creek Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-2 defeat against Trinity Lutheran on the 27th.
