Leavenworth lost against Piper back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The PIONEERS came up short against the Pirates, falling 8-0.

Leavenworth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Piper, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-7-1.

As for Piper, they will venture away from home to take on Basehor-Linwood at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Piper will be up against Basehor-Linwood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.9 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
