 In what's become a running theme this season, Conway Springs gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. They put the hurt on the Douglass Bulldogs with a sharp  18-11 victory. The  win was nothing new for Conway Springs as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Macie Hartman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching six innings while giving up  four earned  (and seven unearned) runs off   ten  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Hartman has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Hartman was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Regan May, who  scored five  runs while going 6-for-6. Another player making a difference was  Reece Johnson, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 On Douglass' side, they got a big performance out of  Gentry Bergsten, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.  Cheyenne Waggner was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Douglass  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Conway Springs' victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.3 runs per game. As for Douglass, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Conway Springs beat Douglass by a score of  6-5 later that day.
