Basketball Recap: Logan Elm Comes Up Short

Logan Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 55-44 to the Circleville Tigers. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Logan Elm's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Circleville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan Elm will be home for the holidays to greet Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Circleville will take on Hamilton Township in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hamilton Township's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
