Recap: Greeley Quakers vs. Ossining Pride

The Greeley Quakers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Ossining 47-42. Greeley has struggled against Ossining recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Ossining had a senior duo take command as Asher Cort scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six blocks and Franklin Santos scored 15 points. Santos is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Taylor-Lowe, who scored four points along with five rebounds.

Greeley has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Ossining, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Greeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ossining, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kingston knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Ossining likes a good challenge.
