Soccer Game Preview: Westminster vs. Pine Creek

The Westminster Wolves will host the Pine Creek Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westminster is looking for their season's first win.

Westminster fell victim to Arvada West and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Westminster can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Arvada West are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Pine Creek was forced to settle for a draw. They and Northfield finished up their game with a 1-1 draw two weeks ago.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. Pine Creek's draw gives them a new season record of 2-1-1.
