Softball Recap: Pomona Catholic Comes Up Short

Pomona Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets.

Pomona Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Pomona Catholic will square off against St. Mary's Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Pacers are facing the Belles at the right time seeing as the Belles are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they will host La Salle at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Comets will need to watch out since the Lancers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
