Basketball Recap: Vinton Takes a Loss

Vinton lost against East Beauregard two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vinton Lions fell 30-20 to the East Beauregard Trojans. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vinton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for East Beauregard, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vinton is facing DeQuincy at the right time seeing as DeQuincy is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for East Beauregard, they will face off against Gueydan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Beauregard is on a three-game streak of home losses, Gueydan an 11-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
