Volleyball Recap: Resurrection Christian Has No Trouble Against Mead

Resurrection Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mead Mavericks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Resurrection Christian can attribute much of their success to Jada Nordhagen, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Nordhagen has posted since back in November of 2024.

Mead's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alana Costello, who had 17 digs and one assist, and Lily Kimrey, who had ten digs. Costello has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Resurrection Christian's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Mead, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Resurrection Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Rock Canyon on the 31st. As for Mead, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lutheran on the 31st.
