Basketball Game Preview: Thunderbird Titans vs. Saguaro Sabercats + How To Watch

Thunderbird is 0-6 against Saguaro since February of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Titans will head out to challenge the Sabercats at 7:00 p.m. Thunderbird has given up an average of 65 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Thunderbird had to suffer through a 77-37 loss at the hands of Deer Valley. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 31st).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Carson Canter, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Fred Francis, who put up six points.

Meanwhile, Saguaro strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 99-58 victory over Coronado. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 60-24.

Saguaro's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Thunderbird, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Things could have been worse for Thunderbird, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-47 loss to Saguaro in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
