Baseball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Comes Up Short

Horseshoe Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Childersburg Tigers, falling 17-4. One positive for the Generals, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Horseshoe Bend's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Childersburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horseshoe Bend will welcome Randolph County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Childersburg, they will challenge Sylacauga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
