Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Demopolis' Third in Last Four Outings

After losing to Jemison the last time they met, Demopolis decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Demopolis Tigers came out on top against the Jemison Panthers by a score of 47-36 on Friday.

Demopolis is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. As for Jemison, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-5.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Demopolis Tigers duke it out with the Hale County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hale County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Jemison, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-23 defeat against Selma on the 25th.
