Soccer Recap: Fountain Hills Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Phoenix Country Day, Fountain Hills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lincoln Prep Lightning 3-2.

Fountain Hills hit Lincoln Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alec Kimmel, JD Manley, and Tyler Griggs.

Fountain Hills' victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Lincoln Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fountain Hills will take on Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fountain Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Lincoln Prep, they will challenge Phoenix Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
