Payson not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Cedar Reds. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won six matches in a row.

Waylon Francom paced Payson's offense, picking up 12 kills. Francom got some help from Dillon Houston and his 15 assists.

Payson's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Cedar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Payson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Morgan on the 15th. As for Cedar, they will venture away from home to square off against Hurricane at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
