Softball Recap: West Jessamine Colts vs. Madison Central Indians        
        
		
            
 On Tuesday, West Jessamine faced Madison Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The West Jessamine Colts fell  7-4 to the Madison Central Indians. West Jessamine has not had much luck with Madison Central recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
  Madison Green was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-2 with a  home run, a  stolen base,  and a  double. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abigail Myszak, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 On Madison Central's side,  Cassidy Hack was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Metcalfe, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 West Jessamine's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Madison Central, the  victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Jessamine will stay at home for another  game and welcome Lincoln County at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Lincoln County is coming into the  match with five straight  defeats on the road,  meaning West Jessamine will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. As for Madison Central, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Henry Clay at 6:00  p.m. Madison Central is facing Henry Clay at the right time seeing as Henry Clay is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
