Softball Recap: Klein Forest Takes a Loss

Klein Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Magnolia Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 back in March.

Klein Forest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Bivens, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That run was Bivens' first of the season.

Klein Forest's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Magnolia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Klein Forest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-4 defeat against Klein Cain on the 4th. As for Magnolia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Klein Collins on the 4th.
