Volleyball Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

Berkeley Springs lost against Philip Barbour on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians came up short against the Colts, falling 3-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.

Leading Philip Barbour to victory were Leann Moss and Izzy Knotts. Moss had 18 digs and two aces, while Knotts hit 72.4% for 22 kills and 15 digs and two blocks. Knotts is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 40 games she's played.

Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Philip Barbour, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 42-11-2.

As of now, neither Berkeley Springs nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
