Basketball Recap: Stryker Takes a Loss

Stryker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 45-29 fall against the Delta Panthers. Stryker was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Delta apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Leading Delta to victory were Addison Wyse and Anna Lohman. Wyse went 11 of 15 en route to 20 points, while Lohman almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Wyse is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Sprow, who posted five points and five steals.

Stryker now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Delta, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Stryker will look to defend their home court on Friday against Edon at 7:00 p.m. As for Delta, they will head out to square off against Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
