Football Recap: Rosemont Takes a Loss

Rosemont fell victim to Sheldon and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Huskies 52-0.

A big part of Sheldon's victory came down to the chemistry between Saniah Wiley and her top target Shamira Beard. Wiley threw for 186 yards and four touchdowns while Beard picked up 74 receiving yards and three scores.

Rosemont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sheldon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Rosemont and Sheldon will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolverines are set to square off against their familiar foe Galt at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th. Meanwhile, Sheldon will challenge rival Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
