Basketball Recap: Norman Thomas Gets the Win

If Rustin wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Norman Thomas, they should've done a better job of containing Chris Taylor. The Norman Thomas Tigers took down Rustin 92-76 on Wednesday thanks in part to Taylor, who shot 5-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 34 points and 13 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jariel Rodriguez, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted four or more steals the last three times he's played.

Norman Thomas now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Rustin, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Norman Thomas will head out to take on Irving at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rustin, they will take on West 50th Street at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
