Volleyball Recap: Hesperia Christian Finds Home Court Redemption Against Barstow

There's no place like home for Hesperia Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Barstow Aztecs on Tuesday.

While Hesperia Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.

Nylah Easterling paced Hesperia Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Easterling got some help from Jayda Johnson and her 16 assists. Easterling was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Hesperia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Barstow, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Hesperia Christian has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Woodcrest Christian on the 21st. As for Barstow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Burroughs on the 21st.
