Baseball Recap: Fort Calhoun Pioneers vs. Falls City Tigers
While Fort Calhoun put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Falls City. The Pioneers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Kenny Wellwood made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
