Basketball Game Preview: Ferndale Yellow Jackets vs. Williamsburg Blue Pirates

The Ferndale Yellow Jackets will venture away from home to take on the Williamsburg Blue Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Ferndale heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 52-35 to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy.

Meanwhile, Williamsburg came up short against Conemaugh Valley on Friday and fell 65-54. The Blue Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ferndale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season. Williamsburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Ferndale came up short against Williamsburg when the teams last played back in February of 2017, falling 61-57. Can Ferndale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
