Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Takes a Loss

Oswego East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Oswego Panthers. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Oswego East had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18.

Oswego East's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Oswego, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oswego East will take on rival Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oswego is set to square off against their familiar foe Bolingbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
