Girard is a perfect 10-0 against Baxter Springs since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Girard is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering McPherson just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bullpups.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Baxter Springs and Galena have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Lions fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Baxter Springs sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-19.

Girard's loss dropped their record down to 24-11. As for Baxter Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

Everything went Girard's way against Baxter Springs in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Girard made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
