Soccer Game Preview: Tate vs. Arnold

The Tate Aggies will take on the Arnold Marlins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tate is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against South Walton on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Seahawks by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Aggies couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Arnold waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Jaguars onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The Marlins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit West Florida with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nolan Kavouras, Fernando Granillo, Travis Novak, and Zach Wickard.

Arnold is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine matchups. As for Tate, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
