Football Recap: Weaver Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Weaver managed to slip by Westbrook Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bearcats had to suffer through a 63-20 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The Bearcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-20.

Brody Blevins had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 200 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground for Westbrook Christian. Bo Kilgo was another key player, picking up 70 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Weaver has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Westbrook Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.
