Softball Recap: Clarendon Takes a Loss

Clarendon lost against Muleshoe back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clarendon Broncos came up short against the Muleshoe Mules, falling 13-3.

Clarendon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Muleshoe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarendon will head out to take on Childress at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Childress' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Clarendon's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Muleshoe, they will head out on the road to square off against Idalou at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Muleshoe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
