Soccer Recap: Kahuku Victorious

Kahuku kept a clean sheet against McKinley on Saturday. They beat the McKinley Tigers by a goal, winning 1-0. That's more bragging rights for the Red Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Kahuku and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for McKinley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kahuku and Kalaheo will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. McKinley will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Kailua at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. McKinley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
