Baseball Recap: Public Safety Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Entrepreneur

Public Safety Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Entrepreneur Bulls on Wednesday as the Public Safety Academy Phoenix made off with a 12-4 victory.

Joey Gutierrez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Conrad Henderson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Public Safety Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Entrepreneur onlymanaged seven hits.

Public Safety Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-2 defeat against Pacific on the 20th. As for Entrepreneur, they will head out to face off against Western Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
