Baseball Recap: La Farge Comes Up Short

La Farge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the North Crawford Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in April.

La Farge's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for North Crawford, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, La Farge will challenge Weston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Silver Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Crawford, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Wauzeka-Steuben at 5:00 p.m. The Trojans are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
