Baseball Recap: Hesperia Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but Hesperia Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 18-1 to the Riverside Prep Silver Knights. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Silver Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Hesperia Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Beasley, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. The Patriots are 4-1 when Beasley posts three or more hits, but 3-6 otherwise.

Hesperia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Riverside Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

While Hesperia Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
