Soccer Recap: John Paul II Comes Up Short

John Paul II entered their match against Pinewood Prep on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Golden Warrriors fell 2-0 to the Panthers. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but John Paul II couldn't quite close it out.

John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pinewood Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Paul II will challenge Beaufort Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. John Paul II will need to watch out since Beaufort Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Pinewood Prep, they will square off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
