Volleyball Recap: Stephenson Takes a Loss

Stephenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Gladstone Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gladstone, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Stephenson and Gladstone will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to square off against their familiar foe Superior Central at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. Meanwhile, Gladstone will face off against rival Menominee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
