Softball Recap: Oak Park Eagles vs. Royal Highlanders

Oak Park had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 9-11 to make it five. They fell just short of the Royal Highlanders by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in March.

Erika Samuels spent all 7.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits.
