Volleyball Game Preview: Rocklin Thunder vs. Jesuit Marauders

Rocklin hasn't had much luck against Jesuit recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Rocklin will head out on the road to take on Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. Rocklin is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Rocklin will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Whitney, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Rocklin came out on top against Whitney by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 17-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Jesuit didn't have quite enough to beat Harbor on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Jesuit started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 27-25, 15-10.

Jesuit has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. Rocklin's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-11.

Rocklin couldn't quite get it done against Jesuit when the teams last played on March 3rd as they fell 3-1. Can Rocklin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
